MRHFL – CRA project
Uncertainty in rainfall pattern and lack of awareness on sustainable agriculture practices among farmers is the major reasons for low productivity and higher cost of cultivation in the Marathwada and Vidarbha region. In this regards, MRHFL has taken initiative in collaboration with Dilasa for implementing Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA) project for building the capacity of farmer to adopt climate resilient agriculture practices.
Under this project farmer have been aware and demonstrated on various CRA practices for reducing their cost of production and improving crop yield and income level on sustainable basis. It's not only all about the farmers but also the MRHFL has deployed its grassroots level worker called "Customer managers" for implementing village level activities. The customer managers have been given technical trainings through webcast on different Package of Practices (PoPs). Main objective of these trainings was to aware customer managers (CM) about the activities and enhance their knowledge level (Capacity building) regarding the same. After acquiring the technical knowledge of agricultural activities Customer Managers have implemented various activities in the demo plot such as installation of Bird perches, Installation of pheromone traps & yellow sticky traps, application of micronutrients, Biofertilizers, Amrutmitti etc. These activities are based on the scientific phenomenon of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and INM (Integrated Nutrient Management) which helps to reduce pest infestation and improves soil quality respectively. During the on-field training & demonstration program 10-15 neighboring farmers have been adjoined and acquired the technical knowledge from experts. Village wise mass awareness program has been conducted to wide spread the information about climate change and suggested farmers about best agriculture practices to minimize the effect of climate change on crop production.

L&T Financial Services
With L&T Financial Services (LTFS), Dilasa is implementing IWRM project in 72 villages of Maharashtra with the name Jal Vaibhav Prakalp-Creating Climate Resilient Agriculture Community.
As Climate change is now at the doorstep of the rural people showing erratic and unpredictable weather, which is drastically reducing the yield of the farm and thereby impact on income of villagers. Agriculture was getting severely affected because of water scarcity and non-availability of irrigational water.
Improving agricultural productivity is necessary to meet the needs of people. Sustainable increase in production can be achieved by making sustainable use of natural resources. Hence LTFS has come forward to implement IWRM (Integrated Water Resource Management) project with the objective to increase net agriculture income of farmers through NRM activities and efficient use of water.
Project has started in 2017 with 12 villages of Dharur block of Beed district and expanded it in 60 villages from Aurangabad, Jalna and Buldhana district of Maharashtra in 2019.
